In addition to this, they’ve enforced rules and regulations around HOA/POA, attorney and collection procedures, insurance and taxes, HVAC and plumbing, fire and water restoration. Their exceptional management and oversight have helped them successfully navigate through the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, with tenant retention held at a 95 percent occupancy rate with no lapses in rental payments.
Concurrently, the two have jointly owned and operated three successful non-emergency medical transportation companies with fleets of 50 vehicles, managing more than 60 staff and serving more than 40,000 clients. They’re consistently recognized for their exceptional managerial skills.
Going forward, and backed by nearly three decades of combined real estate investment and management experience, the Walkers aim to expand their portfolio to encompass additional multi-family properties with the goal of partnering with a professional property management firm to oversee all properties exceeding 32 units.
